Eduardo returns for Arsenal in 4-0 win over Cardiff
Eduardo bagged a brace in his first appearance for Arsenal in almost a year as the Gunners hammered Cardiff 4-0 in the FA Cup tonight at the Emirates. The Croatia international finished a lovely one-two with Carlos Vela on 20 minutes before slotting home a penalty in the second half.
Nicklas Bendtner and Robin van Persie were also on target to book a quarter-final showdown with Championship side Burnley. But the real news of the evening was the return of Eduardo after he dislocated his ankle in a horror tackle from Birmingham's Martin Taylor.
The result leaves Arsenal in the hunt for their first trophy since 2005 and the return of Eduardo could be the catalyst for the Gunners to turn their season around.
