Drogba in hot water as Chelsea lose to Burnley
Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has landed himself in hot water after throwing a coin at and then giving the finger to Burnley fans during their Carling Cup fourth-round match at Stamford Bridge last night.
The Ivory Coast international put the Blues ahead on 27 minutes but was unable to celebrate the goal after an object landed on the pitch. Silly Didier decided to throw it back where it came from as well as giving the international sign for 'up yours' to the away supporters.
The striker received a yellow card and apologised for the incident but is likely to face a ban for his actions. To make matters worse, Chelsea lost the game in a penalty shoot-out after Ade Akinbiyi had levelled for Burnley. Keeper Brain Jensen was the hero, saving from Wayne Bridge and John Mikel Obi.
