Portugal midfielder Deco has spoken about his desire to leave Chelsea following a disappointing season at Stamford Bridge. The 31-year-old joined from Barcelona on a free transfer last season, but failed to perform consistently and fell out of favour following Luiz Felipe Scolari's departure.
"I have a contract with Chelsea, but I know there are offers from other clubs," Deco told the Portuguese media. "I want to feel happy and this is not the case at Chelsea. I want to find a club where I can again take joy from playing. I did not like the experience at Chelsea."
One of the midfielder's possible destinations could be Inter Milan where Deco would be reunited with Jose Mourinho, his manager at Porto. The player spoke about the chance of working with the Special One again: "Of course, I would like to return to work with Mourinho, he is synonymous with success and I would be very happy. He is a great coach, maybe the best of my career."
