Cristiano Ronaldo: I'm at the right club

Cristiano Ronaldo has again dispelled rumours linking him with a summer switch to Real Madrid. The Portugal winger insisted that he is "at the right club" during the official press conference ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League quarter-final first leg with Porto.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson branded the recent speculation that C-Ron is set to move to the Bernabeu as "pathetic". But according to The Guardian, the former Sporting Lisbon star is tired of the rough treatment he has been receiving in the Premier League and wants to move to the more tranquil surroundings of La Liga.

Ronaldo, however, told reporters that he is getting kicked as much today as he was six years ago: "It has always been like that," he said. "It is not only this season that defenders have kicked me to try and stop me. It is just normal."

Meanwhile, Italian teenager Federico Macheda has been rewarded for his last minute winner over Aston Villa at the weekend with a place in the United squad for tomorrow night at Old Trafford.

United squad: Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, O'Shea, Neville, Vidic, Evans, Ferdinand, Evra, Eckersley, Ronaldo, Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Park, Rooney, Tevez, Welbeck, Macheda.
