Corinthians make £35million bid for Carlos Tevez

Carlos Tevez has spent much of the last year telling anyone who'll listen that he wants out of Manchester City, and that he wants to be closer to his daughters, who are in Argentina. Despite this, clubs like Real Madrid have been sniffing around him, fuelling rumours that all Tevez wants is hot weather and to be able to speak Spanish.

However now it appears that he will be moving back to South America, after Brazilian club Corinthians tabled a £35million offer for the Argentine. Tevez's agent Kia Joorabchian has declared publicly that the club want the player, and that the move hinges on whether City will accept the fee or not.

'Negotiations have already begun,' Joorabchian said. 'Corinthians are in contact with us. His dream and mine is to see him back with Corinthians. He said he has a job that does not end there, he wants to return because he has the dream of winning the Copa Libertadores.

'Corinthians have made the offer, now it depends only on Manchester City. City have to make a decision. Everybody is working to make this happen, me, Corinthians, Tevez, Adrian Ruocco (another Tevez representative). It is impossible to determine the situation, but I think it is close.'
