City target Kaka: I want to grow old at AC Milan
Brazilian star Kaka looks set to turn down a £100m move to Manchester City after telling reporters in Italy that he wants to end his career at current club AC Milan.
City are believed to have made an official offer for the 26-year-old play maker yesterday. The deal would see Kaka earn over £280,000 per week. But the Brazilian seems to have dismissed the move despite growing speculation.
"I want to grow old at AC Milan," Kaka told reporters. "My aim is to become, at some point in the future, the captain of this team. I have already turned down some major offers."
While the news may come as a blow to City's new owners as they attempt to create the real life equivalent of a Pro Evolution Master League team, the money would be better served buying a quality defensive midfielder to shore up the team's leaky defence.
