City look to offload Robinho

Robinho looks to be heading towards the door marked exit at Eastlands after yet another dismal away performance for Manchester City against Chelsea at the weekend. City haven't won away from home since September and the club's record signing has largely been blamed for that statistic.

According to The Guardian, City boss Mark Hughes is contemplating dropping Robinho to the bench when Bulgaria winger Martin Petrov makes his returns from injury. There are also rumours that the £32.5m summer signing will used as part of a swap deal to bring either John Terry from Chelsea or Franck Ribéry of Bayern Munich to Eastlands during the summer.

Either way it looks as if Robinho will be bringing his occasional flashes of brilliance, huge wages and thumb sucking celebration to another club in the very near future.
