Cipriani receives yet another England snub

Danny Cipriani's international career has been dealt another hammer blow with the news that the Wasps fly-half has been left out of the England squad for the summer tour to Argentina despite the fact that Martin Johnson will be without eight first team regulars due to the Lions tour.

This time last year Cipriani was being touted as the future of English rugby and a shoe in for the Lions No.10 jersey, but how the mighty have fallen with the 21-year-old losing out to Leicester's Sam Vesty.

Cipriani has been included in the Saxons squad for the Churchill Cup, but the latest snub by Martin Johnson calls into question the Wasps player's international future.

While the door appears to have been slammed in Cipriani's face, World Cup-winning hooker Steve Thompson has received his first call up since 2006.
