Chelsea take on Juventus at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea take on Juventus tonight in the Champions League tonight in a fixture which will see former Blues boss Claudio Ranieri return to Stamford Bridge for the first time.

Guus Hiddink looks set to pair Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba upfront as Chelsea look to assert their dominance in the first leg of the last-16 tie. "When they didn't play together, that depended upon other people's style of play. That is in the past. My interest is only in the short future ahead for me and the team," Hiddink told reporters.

"They played together at Aston Villa in a very important game. You cannot hide in games like that. They worked very hard for the team and they helped us get the first win," the former PSV boss added.

Juventus are currently in second place in Serie A and will welcome veteran striker Alessandro Del Piero back into their starting line-up. The Italian international will partner Amauri, dubbed the Brazilian Drogba, ahead of a midfield featuring former Chelsea player Tiago alsongside Mohamed Sissoko.
