Chelsea 4 West Ham 1

Chelsea moved back to the top of the Premier League last night following their 4-1 thumping of West Ham at Stamford Bridge yesterday afternoon.

Brazilian centre-back Alex headed The Blues ahead on fifteen minutes powering a Florent Malouda cross past Rob Green in the West Ham goal.

Gianfranco Zola’s team were level at the break, however, thanks to a stunning volley from Scott Parker on the half-hour.

Any chances of West Ham getting a result against their London rivals were dashed on 55-minutes when Didier Drogba headed home a John Terry cross. Malouda grabbed a third before Drogba made sure of the points with his second of the game two-minutes before the final whistle.
