Champions League final heads to Germany

This season see's the champions league final head to Germany and their magnificent Allianz arena which is undoubtedly one of the most mesmerising stadia in world football currently.

The 57th Champions league draw takes place in just a few days time with Arsenal hoping to secure qualification tomorrow at Udinese where they have a 1-0 lead on aggregate. The final will take place on the 19th May 2012 where the two finalists will travel to the Allianz arena in Munich which is home to Germany, Bayern Munich and 1860 Munich. the 65,000 seater is revolutionary in its design as its exterior bubble design is able to glow in the colour of the team playing at the stadium on that specific day. Early favourites to reach the prestigious final are unsurprisingly Barcelona who are also current holders after defeating Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley in May. The European giants have further strengthened their squad this summer with the most noteworthy signing of former Arsenal playmaker Cesc Fabregas. Barca's formidable rival Real Madrid are also expected to challenge for the prestigious trophy whilst Man City are also touted to do well on their Champions league debut with odds of 9/1 to win the tournament.
