Carlos Tevez's agent not worried about transfer failure

Carlos Tevez's agent Kia Joorabchian has said that he still wants to leave Manchester City, despite his move to Corinthians falling through, and will continue to look for a club to play for while the transfer window is open.

City had agreed a £40million transfer with the Brazilian giants, but the move collapsed yesterday when the club realised that the deal wouldn't be completed before the end of the Brazilian transfer window. However Joorabchian says that he is not 'overly worried' about the prospect of him not being sold this summer.

'This is Carlos Tevez we are talking about, one of the best players in the world,' he said. 'We are not overly worried. He wants to leave but is still a City player at the moment and we will of course respect that. We've just got to wait and see who comes in next for him.

'This deal was always going to be difficult because of the timing. In the end, this came down to small details, to haggling over a relatively small amount of money, and it couldn't be done in time.'
