Capello's England take on Croatia in Zagreb
England take on Croatia tonight in Zagreb in what will be the toughest test in the whole World Cup qualifying campaign. The game will see the old master, Fabio Capello, up against one of the most promising young coaches in Europe, Slaven Bilic.
While Croatia have never lost a competitive game in Zagreb, Capello has claimed that England play better away from the jeers of their own fans. "They play with more confidence away. When we play at Wembley, sometimes the crowd whistle at the first mistake. Here it will be different. I'm sure, really, that England's players will play better than they do at home."
A crucial factor to tonight's game is that England are now the underdogs. It will be interesting to see how Bilic's team deal with the favourites tag, something they failed to live up to at Euro 2008.
Theo Walcott, Joe Cole and Wayne Rooney played in a front three in training with Gareth Barry, Beckham and Frank Lampard in midfield. It looks like Barry will be asked to man mark Tottenham's Luka Modric who was instrumental in Croatia's 3-2 at Wembley last year.
