Button wins the Malaysian Grand Prix
Jenson Button made it back to back victories in the 2009 Formula 1 Championship when he won the Malaysian Grand Prix earlier today. The Brawn GP driver was leading the race when it was abandoned after 31 laps due to torrential rain.
The top eight finishers were awarded half-points by the organisers after the conditions were deemed too dangerous to restart the race. Button was joined on the podium by BMW's Nick Heidfield and Toyota's Tim Glock.
Last year's world champion Lewis Hamilton finished in seventh place to earn half a point to end a terrible week on a positive note.
