Manchester City were humbled by their near neighbours Bolton Wanderers yesterday at the Reebok. Gary Megson's side won 2-0 thanks to late goals from Ricardo Gardner and yet another Richard Dunne own goal.
Mark Hughes' team continued their terrible away form as they failed to capitalise on their first half dominance. Shaun Wright Phillips and Robinho both went close for City but Bolton upped their game in the last fifteen minutes.
Yesterday's loss was City's fourth away defeat this season which is not the kind of form you would expect from a team with pretensions to play in the Champions League next year. The pressure is mounting on Hughes to deliver.
