Dimitar Berbatov looks set to leave Spurs for Manchester United after being left out of the Tottenham side that lost at home to Sunderland on Saturday. The Bulgarian now looks set to seal a dream move to Premier League champions Manchester United.
Despite scoring two goals for Bulgaria in their friendly win over Bosnia-Herzegovina last Wednesday, Spurs' boss, Juande Ramos, told reporters that Berbatov wasn't focused enough to play on Saturday and that his attitude would disrupt the atmosphere in an already troubled dressing room.
The handling of the Berbatov transfer has called into question the Spaniard's man management skills with the decision to drop the former Bayer Leverkusen player due to his attitude giving United the upper hand in negotiations over a possible move to Old Trafford. Either way it is difficult to feel any sympathy for the sulking Berbatov whose body language on Saturday made Nicolas Anelka look like a picture of happiness.
