Bent: I won't be leaving Aston Villa

Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has ruled out a move away from the Birmingham club during the summer telling reporters that: 'I'm tired of moving around.'

Villa could be set to lose Ashley Young and Stewart Downing this summer with Manchester United and Liverpool both sniffing around the England internationals.

Bent, who joined the Birmingham club for £18 million in January, has made it clear that he won't be going anywhere even in the wake of Gerard Houllier's departure for health reasons.

'They [the fans] don't need to worry about me. I'm tired of moving around. I am at Aston Villa now and I have loved every minute I have been at the club. The people are nice and the staff are nice,' Bent said.

'It's a shame that a big part of what brought me to the club, Gérard Houllier, has left. But at the same time I am committed to Aston Villa and I am looking forward to the season coming.'

'Every time I go to the training ground, I get a buzz and hopefully it will continue next season.'
