Beckham looks for loan move to prolong England career
David Beckham is reported to be looking for a loan move to Europe in an attempt to prolong his England career. The MLS season finishes at the end of this month and after a disappointing season Beck's LA Galaxy are unlikely to make the play-offs.
England manager Fabio Capello is reported to have told Beckham that he needs to be playing competitive football to be in consideration for a place in the England squad, so Goldenballs could be swapping the warmth of Los Angeles for the winter chills of Europe with AC Milan being mentioned as a likely destination.
Beckham should equal Bobby Moore's record of caps for an outfield player next month's friendly against Germany but could struggle to get into the squad for April's World Cup qualifiers. It remains to be seen what Becks' employers at LA Galaxy.
