Aston Villa beat Bolton 4-2 to move into top four
Aston Villa beat Bolton 4-2 at Villa Park to move into the top four of the Premier League. Winger Gabriel Agbonlahor netted a brace as Martin O'Neill's young team again showed their quality.
Bolton silenced the home crowd early on through a Johan Elmander goal. But Agbonlahor drew Villa level with his first goal of the day before Curtis Davies put Martin O'Neill's side ahead five minutes before the break.
Agbonlahor netted his second before turning provider when he laid on a fourth goal for Ashley Young. With Arsenal being held at Middlesbrough Aston Villa are now only seven points off the top spot.
