Aston Villa and Arsenal draw 2-2 in thriller
Zat Knight scored a dramatic injury time equaliser to earn Aston Villa a point against Arsenal in a thrilling 2-2 draw.
Villa battered the Gunners in the first half, hitting the woodwork on three separate occasions. But it was Arsenal who went ahead just before the break when Denilson stole the ball from Reo Coker to score past Brad Friedel.
Arsenal doubled their lead early in the second half thanks to a brilliant move started and finished by Abou Diaby. The Gunners looked set to take all three points until William Gallas mistimed a tackle on Agbonlahor and Gareth Barry put away the resulting penalty.
Martin O'Neill and Arsene Wenger had an angry exchange on the sidelines before centre back Knight produced a top class finish to earn his side a point and keep their hopes of a Champions League place alive.
