Arsenal tell Milan that Adebayor is for sale
Arsenal are looking to sell Emmanuel Adebayor according to AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani. back in June the North London club had told Milan that the Togo striker wasn't for sale.
But Galliani has told an Italian television station that Arsenal wrote to the Italian club to inform them that they are ready to sell the 24-year-old. Milan, however, are unwilling to meet Arsenal's £36m asking price.
Barcelona have emerged as favourites to sign Adebayor but Galliani's statement will increase speculation over a possible move to Serie A for the former Monaco man. Milan are still looking to sign a new striker with Ronaldo out of action and Alberto Gilardino moving to Fiorentina.
