Arsenal stormed into the semi-finals of the Champions League with a 3-0 win over Villareal at the Emirates. The result saw the Gunners win the tie 4-1 on aggregate to set up a showdown with rivals Manchester United.
Theo Walcott, Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie got the goals on the night with the 20 -year-old England winger's finish being the pick of the bunch. Arsene Wenger had gone into the match missing first choice defenders Clichy and Sagna, but their replacements Silvestre and Gibbs performed ably.
