Agassi: “I took Crystal Meth”

Andre Agassi has sent shock waves through the sporting world by sensationally admitting he took Crystal Meth in 1997.

The admission, in his new autobiography says that he took the highly addictive illegal drug during his tennis hey day with his then assistant Slim but escaped what would have been a life-time ban from the game because he told authorities his use was accidental.

"There is a moment of regret, followed by vast sadness" said Agassi in the book, adding, “Slim dumps a small pile of powder on the coffee table, he cuts it, snorts it. He cuts it again. I snort some. Then comes a tidal wave of euphoria that sweeps away every negative thought in my head. I've never felt so alive, so hopeful - and I've never felt such energy." Yep, sounds accidental to us.

Agassi, who is widely considered to be among the greatest tennis players of all time won five grand slams post ’97 amongst a series of other tennis titles is now being investigated by the ATP and may be stripped of all titles.

With a lion's barnet Jon Bon Jovi would be proud of, who would have funk he was out of his tree eh? Remember kids, drugs are not be sniffed at, unless you have a book to promote.
