Emmanuel Adebayor has committed his future to Arsenal following months of speculation that he was set to quit the Emirates and move to AC Milan.
The Togo striker's agent Stephane Courbis told Observer Sport that his client will definitely be playing for the Gunners next season. The statement comes just days after Arsene Wenger hinted that the striker would remain at the Emirates: "If he does not want to stay he will leave, but I think that he will be still at Arsenal this season."
Adebayor struggled with his fitness and form last season scoring just 16 goals and seeemed unsettled at the Emirates. The 25-year-old had been linked to Chelsea and Barcelona but Serie A side Milan looked like favourites to sign the striker.
While rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani spoke last week about the club's official approach for Adebayor, the comments from the player's agent seem to suggest that he'll be playing his football in North London next season.
