Player booked for tackle on pitch invader
A pitch invader during Saturday's Moscow derby between Spartak and Lokomotiv got more than he bargained for when Spartak defender Radoslav Kováč hacked him down from behind. Bizarrely the Czech international was booked by the match referee after attempting a bit of DIY crowd control.
The topless fan hobbled to the sidelines doing his best Cristiano Ronaldo meets Paolo Montero impression before being escorted away by the police. A bewildered looking Kováč was left shaking his head in disbelief at the ref's decision.
In fairness it was a tackle from behind and the Spartak man made no attempt to play the ball. He's lucky he wasn't sent for an early shower.
